ISPM 15 (Heat Treatment)
This heat treatment prevents the spreading of pests and is registered under the abbreviation ISPM 15. Producers who meet the requirements of ISPM 15 receive a unique registration number from the Stichting Markering Houten Verpakkingen (SMHV), which must be recognizable in the IPPC mark on the wood products. This mark is internationally recognized.
